The NZflag.com Trust invited all Year 9 and 10 students throughout the country to participate in designing a new New Zealand flag. The regional flag design winners were chosen by a panel including Artist Dick Frizzell and NZ Tourism CEO George Hickton. The national winner was determined by public vote.
