I believe we should have a change of flag as ours is far too similar to Australia's and does not reflect NZ's cultural uniqueness. I would like to see the silver fern on a black background with a kowhaiwhai pattern as a border preferably in red brown and white colours. We all relate to the silver fern but on just a black background it would be too bleak.
