I'm a young musician who is very proud of our country. I think New Zealand deserves a new flag so that it can re-establish itself as a unique country with unique visual identity. I believe that our present flag doesn't represent our current culture in this country nor is it a very interesting or inspiring design. I support a referendum for change. nzflag.com's proposed design is a good start for debate. However, I prefer the Austrian artist Friedensrich Hundertwasser's design for a New Zealand flag, a green Koru on a white flag. Lets change the way we see ourselves and the way others in the world see us.
